  • ARC Plus ARC Small

    Dual Secure Element for Key Protection

    Unlike other wallets that rely solely on the main processor for security, Arcanum employs two separate Secure Elements from different manufacturers to safeguard your Bitcoin keys.

    Arcanum integrates Microchip’s ATECC608 and Maxim’s DS28C36B to securely store your master key—your 24-word BIP39 seed phrase.

    A complete breach would require compromising all three components: both Secure Elements and the main processor.

    Genuine vs. Warning Indicators

    To prevent unauthorized tampering, Arcanum firmware is signed with a factory key. During startup, the firmware signature and flash memory integrity are verified, displaying either a Green or Red light as an indicator.

    The indicator light is controlled by a Secure Element, ensuring it cannot be manipulated by software. Additionally, the exposed light circuit allows for easy detection of tampering attempts.

    Anti-Phishing Security Words

    Arcanum’s PIN system is split into two parts. After entering the first section, two unique security words appear on-screen, uniquely linked to your device.

    Memorize and verify these words before entering the second half of your PIN to ensure you’re using the genuine Arcanum, protecting yourself against counterfeit devices.

    Enhanced Physical Security

    Arcanum’s transparent casing allows users to visually inspect the device for unauthorized modifications, adding an extra layer of security against hardware tampering.

    There is no factory reset option—if the PIN is lost, the device becomes inaccessible.

    For additional security, a "SHOOT THESE" label is included to indicate the best points for physical destruction if needed.

Exclusive Trick PIN Features

Arcanum provides additional security features for any situation!

Duress PIN

Configure an optional "Duress PIN" that, when entered, mimics normal operation but actually opens a completely separate wallet instead of your primary one.

To make it more convincing, you can store a small amount of Bitcoin in this wallet while ensuring your main funds remain protected.

The duress wallet is derived from the same BIP39 seed words as your primary wallet, eliminating the need for an additional backup. However, access to the original wallet is not possible from the duress wallet.

Countdown to Brick PIN

This hidden alternative to the "Brick Me" PIN introduces a pre-set delay (minutes, hours, or days) before granting access.

Instead of simply delaying access, this mode secretly "bricks" the device (or optionally erases the seed) for added security in high-risk situations.

It provides an effective way to deter attackers, simulating a delay similar to a time-locked vault while ensuring the device becomes inaccessible if seized.

BIP39 Passphrases (25th Word)

With BIP39 passphrase support, you can generate unlimited decoy wallets, offering an additional layer of privacy. Unlike a single Duress PIN, BIP39 allows you to create multiple hidden wallets tailored to your needs.

Brick Me PIN

Set up a "Brick Me" PIN, which, when entered, permanently disables the secure element, rendering the Arcanum unusable. This is an optional security feature that can be part of an emergency protection plan.

Login Countdown

Activate a login delay requiring the PIN to be entered, followed by a waiting period (set to minutes, hours, or days). After the countdown expires, the PIN must be re-entered to access the device.

Unique Tamper-Proof Bag

Every Arcanum arrives in a tamper-evident sealed bag with a unique serial number. This "bag number" is recorded internally upon packaging and cannot be altered. You are encouraged to verify this number when powering on your Arcanum for the first time.
